Lloyd-Thomas Architects have worked closely with ‘In-2-Space’ Housing over the last few years to produces extremely compact 1 and 2 bed home prototypes (1 bed 49msq, 2 bed 70msq). The scale of these homes provides the ability to unlock back-land or marginal sites, whilst full Building Regulations compliance creates an appreciating asset for mortgage security.
Helical screw piling, Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), Air Source Heat pumps and PV panels make these homes super-efficient and quick to construct.
Various Housing Associations are now interested in developing these units throughout the south and south-east.
