SUN ROOM & GYM – Warwickshire
A new Sun Room and home Gym within the private garden of a Grade II Listed country house.
The steel frame allows full height glazing to wrap around the front on the building, and the rear is clad in dressed Bath stone. Full height sliding doors allow the room to feel part of the garden. Clerestory glazing around all sides allows the roof to appear to float and the concrete floor slab appears to hover over the inclined ground. The polished concrete finish to the floor slab runs seamlessly from inside to out.
The flat roof is planted with Sedum to allow this modern form to compliment the rural backdrop.
